The Door County Peninsula has over 20 lighthouses , more than any other county in the United States. Unfortunately, I cannot show all of them here.

The Old Ridge and Range Lighthouse, which sets back in the woods, and the original Range, when lit were used to line up boats according to both lights. The vessels would use these lights to determine their "mark" upon entering Bailey's Harbor. The new range light has replaced the old (white) one and is now electronically controlled.
