I began my lighthouse
journey through Wisconsin in the summer of 2002 during frequent visits while engaged to my fiance in Milwaukee. Instantly
I became enchanted with the beautiful old structures, their history, purpose, and ornate elegance. My first and foremost purpose
for moving to Wisconsin was to be married to and live with my fiance as my wife. After shooting the above lighthouse in Port
Washington, Wisconsin I knew then what my second purpose was going to be when I moved from my hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. That
was to start a two-year project of photographing as many of the state's lighthouses that I could get to, and then publish
a coffee table book of "Wisconsin Only Lighthouses." Hopefully my lighthouse journey will be completed by the end
of 2004.
